Well, the facebook post about this was taken down (episode is delayed, I guess), but apparently on Steven Universe, Amethyst and Garnet will be fusing (like Pearl and Amethyst did a few episodes ago), and they were having some kind of fan art contest. I thought it was would be super fun to sketch out a character that was some crazy combination of the two, so I went ahead and made one. Free-handed most of this in Illustrator, using my first napkin doodle as a reference.
3 more photos from earlier in the year. I photograph an awful lot of telephone poles. Can’t help myself.
More photography from earlier in the year. Some graffiti art I was very impressed by.
Some photos I took earlier in the year. I really enjoy looking up at leafless trees.
…I go to type up a text update about how I am feeling, and then I start reading over the things I wrote, and before too long I say to myself “This is stupid. No one cares about your feelings.”
Then I erase all the words I just typed.
Not going to lie, I kind of want to erase these ones too. As if just deleting the type would have a similar effect on the underlying emotions.
Who or what is Consquatch, you ask? Some would have you believe that he a friendly, helpful, convention-dwelling beast who roams the halls of local game stores and various nerdly gatherings, never looking at the camera, and seemingly always blurred just a little bit. Those very same some would also allege that this Yeti-like anomaly plays the sort of games where he might require some kind of mat on which to keep his cards. One thing is certain…this, if Consquatch exists, is that mat.
PS - If you know Luke, please don’t spoil this for him until I am able to give it to him later this week (probably at DMG on Tuesday evening).
I will totally post something of relevance soon! Even if I have to post a paragraph from the incredibly terrible thing I started writing. Am I now “working on that novel I been working on”? I may be. I may be.
But Hopefully I will draw something, or do some kid of artsy bull-crap. You know how I do.
